On October 10, 2005 I was in Shanghai at the World Internet Summit organized by world-famous Ted Ciuba together with Brett McFall and Tom Hua - all famous Internet marketers and entrepreneurs.

This is the first time this Summit was held in Asia. it was actually a tour from Hong Kong to Shanghai to Singapore and to Malaysia. I wish I could also go to all those places to be present at all events...
The speakers were:
Tom Hua - the guy originally from Shanghai and now Australia's most famous Internet Marketer - the guy behind all time best seller FreeToSell package.
Brett McFall - Australia’s cutting edge internet marketer and copywriter.
David Cavanagh - the whirlwind speaker and internet marketing coach again from Australia
Jo Han Mok - One of the creators of Midas Touch Marketing from Singapore and probably the best copywriter in Asia
Stephen Pierce - "The Whole Truth" guy and internet millionaire, also an awesome speaker
Patric Chan - a 24 year old internet marketing expert and infopreneur who specializes in high profit, low cost online marketing strategies.

Now there was not too much new information to learn for me... the speakers concentrated on marketing and product creation basics, so I knew 98% of the stuff. But even the 2% that was new to me will bring me several thousand $$$ by the end of this year, I'm sure ;-) Also it was fun observing Chinese guy and gals raging over the speakers presentations and falling one over another to grab their $2000 special packages.

Anyway the event was an eye opener for me and I'll be acting upon the ideas I got - you will see the results within the next year. And it may shake the Internet Marketing world too, who knows...

Last but not least - I was chatting with ALL the speakers and Ted Ciuba too during the breaks and after the event. Have to say all of the guys are really GREAT and friendly (you wouldn't think BIG shots like them would be). But I guess this is a common trait of all of us in this industry 8-) I'm happy to PERSONALLY meet these big names in our industry. Now I KNOW tey are for real and not just some dummies behind the multiple websites. ;-)

Tom Hua is smart, he's Chinese and he actually speaks Chinese.
So we chatted a bit in Chinese. He says I'm good 8-)

Stephen Pierce is a very good speaker. He hypnotized the crowd and took
them ALL to the other side of the summit room to order his special bundle.
I hardly escaped - sorry Stephen... Looks like he's not too mad at me..
